Farewell Texas Stadium

On December 20th we celebrated Joey's 40th birthday with a Cowboy game, the last game ever to be played in Texas Stadium. Other than the fact the Cowboy's should have just stayed in the locker room for the game, it was a wonderful time. We had venison, venison and more venison thanks to Brye's fabulous hunting skills. We tailgated for several hours prior to the game and barely escaped the worst cold front of the season so far. Our seats were as high as you could get which worked to our advantage given the weather. The mile walk back to the car was blistering cold and according to Julie the coldest she'd ever been in her entire life. The Farewell ceremony was pretty neat, kind of boring at parts, but they did actually turn the lights off with the fans still in the stadium which I thought was pretty cool. The Cowboy's lost but we had a fabulous time. Thanks Jenn for coordinating this wonderful trip, Happy birthday Joey and Farewell Texas Stadium.
